9 weeks

I had my 9 week appointment today.  The doctor did a sonogram and we got to see our precious little one.  He/she moved a lot while on camera and we got some great shots.  This one is my favorite.  There's nothing like seeing what's happening inside my body and thinking about what's he/she is going to be like when they come into this world!

PREGNANT!!!

This week I thought I should take a pregnancy test, just in case.  Chad was out of town, and I thought I could wait until he got home, but I couldn't stop thinking, "Could I be pregnant?"  So Wednesday morning I went ahead and did the test and just kind of waited for the one line to tell me that I'm not pregnant (I'm used to seeing that one line).  After a few minutes I looked at the test to see two pink lines staring back at me.  I think I kept looking trying to make sense of what I was seeing.  I starting crying and thanking God that this was actually happening.  I woke up our roommate at the time for her to check to make sure I was reading the test right.  We celebrated together and took a picture of the positive results (I didn't realize the results will stay on that test for practically forever).  And the next two days I went around with a smile on my face just bursting to share the news.  

Chad's flight came in Thursday night, and I picked him up with a little present waiting for him in the car.  He opened it to find a DAD picture frame and a baby outfit.  What a happy moment!!  

We are so excited for the next 9 months and can't wait to meet the little one that God has created!
