We're still here...

Since the move we have not had internet at the house until today. I have felt totally disconnected from the world. And by "world" I mean blogs and facebook. So, sorry if I haven't commented on your blog or facebook lately...it's not that I didn't care. In the meantime, we've been having all kinds of fun in our new house:

Brooks got a new chair from Birdie. He totally loves it and sometimes he'll just go sit in it for fun:

Brooks found this bag of animal cracker crumbs in the trash. I guess he thought it would be a good idea not to waste any. He got the bag out and started digging the crumbs out and eating them:

B just chillin' after another rough day:

Gammy and Pops came to visit and were a HUGE help while we went shopping for furniture. Here's an early morning pic of Brooks with his Gammy:

Sometimes we even get a picture together:

The Big Move

Well, we moved...again. For those of you keeping track of our moves in your address books, I'm sorry. I hope you're writing our address in pencil. Anyways, Chad's folks and Jill, my sister-in-law, and her son, Brodie, all came to help. It was so nice to have that kind of help considering we were moving furniture until about 10:00 on Friday night. We are renting a house about 6 miles from my school, and it is absolutely perfect. We love the house and love the area. It is way bigger than anything we're used to. This is actually our first place (in the eight we've lived in) that has 2 bathrooms! We definitely don't have enough furniture to fill the rooms, but we are getting there. We found solid oak bunkbeds, dresser, and desk for Brooks' future room/current guest room. It was a great find and an even better deal. It's so cute to see that furniture and try to imagine Brooks sleeping in that big bed. Crazy!
Well, we spent the weekend moving, cleaning, and unpacking, and a little playing inbetween. I can't imagine what it would've been like without our family here to help...we'd seriously still be unpacking today. It's not easy moving while trying to chase after a toddler. Good thing cousin Brodie was here to play with Brooks. See how much they love eachother:

Scoops kept the boys pretty busy, too:

We also found a little time one night to escape the boxes and go for a swim:

Brodie is turning into a fish!

Thank you, family, for your help!
