Well...not quite - But I'm learning. I saw these reusable snack bags on etsy.com and I really wanted some for Brooks. They are super cute and they just make sense. You'll never have to use ziploc bags again! Well, I was going to order them but then my mom and I got to thinking: We could make those! That was such a silly thought. It took me so long to make the first one that Chad made a comment that if I made them for others and charged by the hour that we would be rich. The first one did take a long time and didn't work out. The second one turned out pretty cute, but I got the fabric inside out. The third one is adorable and usable. We gave it a try today when we went shopping with Brooks. Brooks loved his snack bag and his goldfish stayed inside the bag without spilling. I sewed this one a little bit deeper so he had to really reach in to get the snack (I think that helped it not to spill). All the sellers on etsy.com take cute pictures of their bags, so I thought I would show mine off as well.
I think I'll make a couple more and then put the sewing machine aside for a while. It takes me so long to do something so simple. Just in case you are super crafty, I put the link to the tutorial that I used in case you are interested: http://www.tacy.org/tutorials/SnackbagtutorialRevisedpdf.pdf
P.S. If someone can comment and also tell me how to add a link that would be awesome.

That is adorable!! What a great idea! I do want to see the first two! :)
I might just have to buy one from you to give it to my sister for Brody. She is definitely no where near crafty so she would buy one rather than make one. It would be a nice little gift. How much are you charging? Oh and I want to see the first two as well. :)
Good job Heather! Very creative.
To post a link just highlight the words you want linked (for example: "click here") and then click on the icon that looks like a chain and a globe. A window will open where you can paste in the web address. Once you click ok, the words you had highlighted will have some html codes surrounding them. If you click "preview" the words should be blue and underlined showing that they are an active link. But make sure to click on them once yourself to see if they work.
Hope that helps.
PS I don't know if you saw it, but I wrote a long response to your comment on my high school blog.
